Just to warn you: There are a lot of pictures!
I had a really hard time choosing, so I hope you enjoy!
Doll-peen as Marley says.
Marley liked them, but didn't want to get too close.
Having so much fun!
Gracie was so excited to see this penguin! She was jumping up and down and clapping.
She even got to hug him.
Douglas and Marley look the exact same!
audience just capture the whole experience.
Wow! We sat in the splash zone and we weren't sure how the kids would react, but they loved it! Especially Gracie. She's added Shamu to her favorites.
Now her list is Ariel, Elvis, Shamu, and Horses
What a fun show. Orca's are amazing!
Gracie and Grandma waiting for lunch. The only draw back of the day was that they didn't allow outside food or drinks, so we spent a lot on food. The shamu cup in the picture cost $8.75 and $1 for each refill. We will definitely remember to take that cup next time!
2 squeaky Shamu toys. What were we thinking?!?
She couldn't get enough!
We had so much fun feeding the birds.
Gracie wasn't so sure at first, but she looks pretty happy now.
This is Grandpa Riley's favorite part.
The birds loved Leroy! No flash, Sorry you can't see his face.
They were troopers.
We decided that Sea World would be better this year and maybe we would try Disneyland next year. It was such a fun day and the 2009 ticket was the same price as the one day pass, so we'll be going back several times this year. We loved feeding the dolphins, seeing the Shamu show, feeding birds, seeing all the fish, sharks, penguins, sea lions, riding the rollercoasters and walking a ton. It was a great day to be together as a family.
Day 3 of our trip was a day to enjoy the San Antonio Temple. Riley, Darlene, Douglas and I went to a session while Uncle Leroy took care of the kids. He is a sweetheart because Marley had a huge blowout and needed some serious cleaning. Thank you Leroy!!! It was so nice to enjoy the temple and not worry about the kids. It was so peaceful and beautiful!
Before we headed home we had some good bar-b-que and stopped by a real mall to do some shopping that we can't get in San Angelo including Godiva Chocolatier. Mmmmmm!
The kids were so nice in the car and the trip home flew by. We were so happy to come home and sleep in our own beds.
