Our poor garden has been overgrown with weeds over the last few weeks as we have been vacationing. So, we've been working really hard to take our garden back and harvest all the yummy veggies. We picked and picked cucumbers until we had 22 pounds. What the heck can you do with that many cucumbers? Douglas, with his many talents decided to pickle them. So here he is pickling until 2 am this morning. He's awesome! I can't wait to try them in a few weeks. Wednesday, July 1, 2009
Pickles
Our poor garden has been overgrown with weeds over the last few weeks as we have been vacationing. So, we've been working really hard to take our garden back and harvest all the yummy veggies. We picked and picked cucumbers until we had 22 pounds. What the heck can you do with that many cucumbers? Douglas, with his many talents decided to pickle them. Wow, I'm impressed! If you don't eat them all by August :) you should bring some to the reunion. I'd love to try them!
